A news photo record was released showing a meeting held on September 4 between Lieutenant Colonel Saw Da Baw of the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) Battalion 28 and 25 military junta prisoners of war (POWs).
These 25 junta soldiers were captured from the frontlines during recent clashes with the military council in the operational territory of the KNLA and allied forces, located within the Karen National Union (KNU) Brigade 6 area.
